Well, believe it or not — and aside from the completely separate and amazing Archives of the Big Bend on the second level about which you will read more in a future post — the Library’s collection includes audio and visual material in the form of CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes (serious gems!), 16mm-film, slides and even laser discs.

  • Most of these items are housed behind the Circulation Desk, so we recommend using WebCat (the Classic Catalog) to simplify your search for material.

  • Limit your search by Format and Type to find specific kinds of audio and visual material.

  • Learn more about using WebCat here.

Not in Alpine? Current students, faculty and staff can peruse the catalog and make a request to have material from our collection sent where it needs to go. Some restrictions apply, but we want to do our best provide necessary access to all. Learn more about Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery here, or contact Suyu Dong (suyu.dong@sulross.edu), Systems and Discovery Services Librarian, for more information.
