About Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

The SRSU Interlibrary Loan Department allows current SRSU and RGC students, faculty and staff to request & receive books, journal articles, and other types of materials the SRSU Library does not own. Retired Sul Ross employees may also take advantage of the ILL service.

With ILL, you have access to unlimited resources, such as books, DVDs, video games, CDs, vinyl records — you name it. If a library owns it and is willing to lend it, ILL will get it for you!

Materials you may request include:

  • books
  • journal articles
  • chapters of books
  • DVDs and videos
  • CDs
  • educational kits (training manuals, guides, etc.)
  • video games

About Document Delivery

Document delivery is a service that allows you to request electronic delivery of print items the Sul Ross State University library owns. This is useful for distance education students who cannot make it to the library or students who would like an electronic copy of an item you cannot check out, such as reference books or journals.

To use this service, use the ‘Request Document Delivery’ form found on the Sul Ross Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery page. Provide as much bibliographic information as possible; Author(s), Title, ISBN/ISSN, Journal Title, etc. We will send you an email with your requested pages in 1-2 business days.

Materials you may request include:

  • books
  • journal articles
  • book chapters
  • manuals
  • guides
  • any other print materials

Limitations: 50 pages per book and no more than 2 articles from a journal.
